Article of Reactions of Hurricane Survivors

There are thousands of hurricanes occurring each year all around the world. Those unfortunate are sucked up by the hurricane and are sent flying above streets and boulevards. Then, they are tossed around by the wind until their body parts fall out and their tendons get squished. Those who are fortunate now recount their experiences. Muahhahaha!!!… Anyway, people who have survived these terrible tragedies are much more aware of hurricanes now.
“We’re not scared. We’re cautious,” stated Lou Davis. People who have experienced hurricane are much more aware of weather cahnges. Hurricane Andrew occurred in the dark early hours of August 24, 1992. This hurricane was the most costly hurricane in the United States. Most people recount of how Andrew thrashed violently through their neighborhoods early in the morning and lifting steel-reinforced concrete tie beams from different buildings and thew them into homes. After the storm, people are afraid of thunder and lightning, even if they know that the storm had passed. Children started crying and panicking when they hear rain and thunder. “Whenever it starts to rain, Kenetta panics,”said Offord. “She cries, ‘Moma, Andrew’s gonna come back. Andrew’s gonna hurt people.’”
Many people are stunned by the sudden changes around them. People dying and property severely damaged did not help people recover either. These hurricane tragedies will be imbedded in people’s memories forever.
