         Hurricane Andrew was the most costing hurricane ever to hit the United States. It occurred on August 24, 1992. Hurricane Andrew his near Miami early in the morning. Its damage was off the charts.
         Hurricane Andrew was a category 4 hurricane, and it had cost the United States about a total of $30,475,000,000.
         Houses, streets, and boulevards were all blown apart. More than 80,000 dwellings were demolished or damaged tooseverely to live in. Another 55,000 were less than 50 percent destroyed and still considered livable. Andrew also demolished thousands of Vehicles. Cars lay everywhere after the storm. 43 people were killed. Office buildings and restaurants were tossed around like jellybeans in a jar. The windows were shattered and the floor bases were bent. Everything fell apart. Billions of people were left homeless. Hurricane Andrew was the destruction of many lives. Even though its destruction has ended, many people fear upon its return.
